Use the colour strips in herringbone pattern, or remove tiles from the mesh easily and use individually.
Tip 1: Draw line on bottom of mesh of each colour strip with black permanent marker, so it shows on the bottom of each tile. This makes it easy to tell which is top and which is bottom when you are gluing your tiles down.
Cut with wheeled nippers, but mostly use them whole, they are such a great size and shape.

Tip 2: When grouting, use Baby Wipes for an effortless and amazingly easy clean up.
Just wipe the individual tiles, and wipe your hands too, it will get all the black grout off you.
