Shards of Pink Opal rough gemstone mined in Western Australia. The colour ranges from a light pink through to salmon pink. It has characterisitic lines of different pinks in the one piece, in some not all of the material. These shards are ideal for mosaics, easily embedded into thinset if that is your style, or can be processed smaller with wheeled nippers for teeny size maybe for micro-mosaic type work.
